Why is it so hard to pronounce Samhain correctly for everyone on TV? I always get confused for a moment when they pronounce it as if it is an English word…

It is:  ˈsɑːwɪn, ˈsaʊ.ɪn or ˈsaʊn NOT “Samheyn”…

I wasn’t trying to be overly cryptic, I really thought writing it phonetically would be the easiest way to make my point.
